Surgery 手术
Sister Min EE, in her 30s, was a senior nurse when she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 2020 after the doctor noticed an increase in cancer markers during a blood test. The cancer had spread to the lymph nodes. At the time of surgery, after the first day of surgery, she bled profusely, much more than other patients. In the evening of the same day, she discovered that her voice was gone, and she could barely whisper. She was devastated when she realized that the doctor didn’t remove all of the cancer cells from her body, leaving two cancerous lymph nodes in her neck. She was told that she could file a lawsuit. Radioactive iodine (RAI) treatment 放射性碘（RAI）治疗
After the surgery, she underwent radioactive iodine (RAI) treatment. Sadly, she got a spread and increase in cancer cells after the RAI treatment. Two weeks after the RAI treatment, she developed a frozen shoulder and had muscle dystrophy in one arm. Her loss of muscle mass made her arm bones very prominent. Doctors advised that she had to take more RAI, or consider taking chemotherapy and other types of radiation. But, she refused, due to the risks that it involves. And although the doctors warned her against refusing their therapies, saying that she placed her life at risk, she did not proceed, as she lost faith in those kinds of medical treatment. As a devout Christian, she devoted herself to praying and looking to God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ for salvation. She prayed and began to use God’s natural remedies to deal with her cancer.作为一个虔诚的基督徒，她全心全意地祈祷，向天父上帝和我们的主耶稣基督寻求救赎。她祈祷并开始使用上帝的自然疗法来对付她的癌症。
Her current diet consists of plant-based whole foods that are as natural as possible, returning to the food that God provided in Genesis. She also uses other natural therapies. She takes olive oil, beans, fruits and vegetables, whole wheat bread, etc. Stress is a risk factor for cancer. She was so focused on helping others and taking on additional responsibilities that she neglected her health. But now, having faith in God, she doesn’t want to be treated by doctors and uses natural therapies instead. She no longer follows the Lord from a distance because she is close to Him, trusting and following Him closely. Every day, she spends a lot of time praying to Jesus, building a stronger connection to God. After forsaking most of her hospital treatments and focusing on prayers and natural remedies, she received the first of a series of miracles about a year later. Earlier, she has been advised by at least three medical professionals not to have any hope of recovering her voice, as it has been more than three months since she couldn’t talk, but could only whisper. One day, she found that she could speak loudly again. Surprisingly, her doctor said that the vocal cords were still damaged and yet she was able to speak clearly. “God has made me well.” In a positive tone, Min Ee stated. Within a month, her frozen shoulders were no longer stiff. Due to muscle dystrophy, she was unable to raise her hands, due to lack of muscles and great pain whenever she tried. But now she started to grow arm muscles. Due to the operation, her parathyroid was so damaged that her body was unable to produce any calcium. A doctor prescribed 28 calcium pills for her to eat each day. But, she took no other prescription from the doctors. After more than a year, one pill per day was all that was required later. At the moment, she occasionally forgets to take her medications, but the doctor says it won’t be a problem. Alex, Min Ee’s husband, was already a Christian when they married. But, together, they all experienced God’s mercy and power in a deeper and greater way. They witnessed God’s healing grace, how truthful He is, and how real and dependable He is. Alex never quarreled with his wife throughout their marriage, and although he was initially indignant when Min Ee gave up suing the doctor, he eventually agreed. He joked that he originally forgave with anger in his heart. But, in the end, he truly forgave and observed how God preserved his wife’s life and even performed many miracles for them.
